Do you or someone you love have missing teeth? Is it something that you would like to see fixed? Have you looked at the options but not yet found the right one to fit your needs? Then pay a visit to our clinic in Kent, dental implants may be the solution for you.
The number of options for replacement of missing teeth has expanded over the years and improved considerably. You may not have heard of dental implants but they are one of the latest solutions for replacing either a single tooth or many teeth. They only need to replace the teeth that are missing. Unlike some other solutions, dental implants work alongside your remaining teeth which do not need to be removed to have dental implants fitted. At Staplehurst Dental, we think this is excellent news because it means that you will retain as much natural look and function for your teeth as possible. Come and talk to us about dental implants in Kent and we’re sure you will get the advice you need to decide what is best for you.
Dental implants go into your jaw bone just like the roots of your teeth. The dentist will drill small holes into your jaw bone – don’t worry, you will either have a local anaesthetic whilst this is done or, if you’re particularly worried, you can talk to us about other sedation options. The implants go into these holes and are then secure. Over time, the jaw bone will knit around the implants making them even more settled. If properly cared for, your implants have the potential to last a lifetime. Bridges, crowns or dentures are then affixed to the implants to give you the prosthetic teeth you need to restore normal function.
At Staplehurst Dental, Kent, dental implants are one of the ways we hope to give you back the ability to choose your foods freely, smile with confidence and talk as normal. We know how important dental health is to life and the effect it can have on the way you feel about yourself. We want to offer you the chance to be the brightest you can be and experience the joy of a restored set of teeth.
